Bayanihan: Lapu Lapu Festival Victims Fundraiser

On April 26, 2025 at the Filipino Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver a driver drove a vehicle into a large crowd injuring many and taking the lives of 11 community members aged 5 to 65. We as DFW community are coming together in Bayanihan spirit – hand in hand - to honor the lives lost & support all the mourning families.

All donations used in this link will be donated directly to the Lapu Lapu Day & Filipino BC victims choice of donation – United Way British Colombia where 100% of proceeds will provide support & healing for the individuals and families affected, counselling, funeral costs, and supporting long-term recovery through a grant-based system.
