City of Carrollton Dedicates December 3rd to Filipino Commerce 

Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Texas-DFW (PACCTX-DFW) Appreciation Day will now be annually celebrated.

The Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Texas-Dallas/Fort Worth (PACCTX-DFW) recently marked a momentous occasion with its Appreciation Day, celebrated across the region. This event recognizes the positive contributions of Filipino American businesses and individuals to the cultural and economic landscape of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area.

PACCTX-DFW, established to support Filipino American entrepreneurs and foster commerce within the community, has long been a beacon of opportunity and advocacy. The organization’s history traces back to its founding in the early 2000s, with a mission to empower Filipino businesses while bridging cultural and economic gaps between the U.S. and the Philippines.

Through its advocacy efforts, PACCTX-DFW has emerged as a key player in the Filipino business network, particularly in DFW, where the Filipino American population continues to thrive. The appreciation day was highlighted by proclamations such as one from the City of Carrollton, which declared December 3, 2024, as "Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Texas-DFW Day," acknowledging the organization's dedication to community development and business empowerment. This recognition highlights the increasing impact of Filipino commerce on the local economy, especially as the DFW metroplex becomes home to a growing number of Filipino American-owned businesses.

“We thank the City of Carrollton, TX for this declaration and are grateful for their support through the years,” said PACCTX-DFW on Facebook. “Our Fil-Am community greatly appreciates the mutual value of our relationship which we hope will continue to grow in the years ahead.”
