The Dallas Mavericks, often referred to as the Mavs, are the professional basketball team of Dallas, Texas. Competing in the Western Conference's Southwest Division of the NBA (National Basketball Association), their legacy began 44 years ago as a team dedicated to a passionate following for community impact and game day success.

The Mavericks have won five division titles (1987, 2007, 2010, 2021, 2024), three conference championships (2006, 2011, 2024) and one NBA championship (2011). From 2001 and 2020, the Dallas Mavericks historically sold out their 815th consecutive game, making for the longest running sellout streak in all North American major league sports. 

The team plays its home games at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, shared with the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars, and is owned by entrepreneur Mark Cuban.
